Six Ways to Make People Like You. If you want people to like you..........................
Rule 1: Become genuinely interested in other people.
1) "Do this and you will be welcome anywhere."
2)"You can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you."
3)"Ask questions to other people, questions that they would enjoy answering."
Rule 2: Smile
1)"Actions speak louder than words, and a smile says, "I like you. You make me happy. I am glad to see you."
2)" You don't feel like smiling? Then force yourself to smile."
3) " It creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in a business, and is the countersign (witness or indication) of friends."
Reflection: Form one's features into a pleased, kind, or amused expression, typically with the corners of the mouth turned up and the front teeth exposed. A smile is the most important thing because it is contagious if you smile at some they'll smile and feel good. it may save a life. When you give a smile to a new person you meet it means you necessarily give a bigger opening to welcome friends all around you. Actions speak louder than words is a great quote because when you do something it shows of how dedicated you were than just saying your are going to do this one thing.
1) "A man's name is to him the sweetest and most important sound in any language."
2)" If you don't remember names, you are headed for trouble."
Reflection: When you use someone’s name, it shows you see that person as an individual. When you remember it, it shows your interest in and respect for that individual. In business, knowing someone’s name can make a difference in how that person feels about you and your brand. The trouble is most of us have trouble remembering the names of people we don’t know well, and we panic. Sometimes we may even avoid someone whose name we don’t remember in order to to avoid embarrassment. We even make excuses like, ”I’m terrible at names.” Or “I have bad memory.” People who are good at remembering names probably don’t have any better memory than you do. What they are better at is working at remembering names
Reflection: When you become a good listener you a journal or diary for someone. When you show interest in a person, that person feels that he/she can trust you and never break that trust because without that trust there is nothing. Don't be selfish and brag about yourself when you listen people, they listen to you. Being a good listener is very important because for a change you're not talking about yourself you're listening to somebody else’s interest thoughts and dreams.Which is good because then you learn about somebody’s interest concern and fears which now you can be open minded because there will be something you did not know about them that will really shock you. Encouraging somebody to talk to themselves is really nice because maybe you’re the first to ever ask them to tell you their interest and fears dreams etc. which is nice because now a days people don’t ever ask somebody else’s common interest that is not theirs.
5 Active listening tips
1. stay focus
2. Really listen
3. Allow for periods of silence
4. Time to time repeat the other persons words or paraphrase them
5. Understand the motion behind the words
Rule 5: Talk in terms of the other man's interest.
"The royal road to a man's heart is to talk to him about the things he treasures most."
Reflection: Take interest in other peoples interest why becomes it seems you are aware of them. For example, if someone loves golf, it would be a good idea to talk about the sport and make them feel you interested in what they have to say. Just talking about yourself makes others dislike the conversation and want to end it quickly, where as showing interest and enthusiasm makes them want to continue conversation.
Rule 6: Make the other person feel important-and do it sincerely.
"The desire to be important is the deepest urge in human nature." "Helping people feel important and appreciated worms magic."
Reflection:There’s a big difference between appreciating people and making them feel significant. Of course, you want to appreciate others. But even more than that, you need to make those important people in your life feel that they matter.Success both personally and professionally is hard to achieve without others who fill gaps for you and support you. There is rarely an exception to this. Think of people in your life. This rule tells me that we should not make conversations about us. We should make the person who we are talking to feel special, make them feel we are interested in only them. If we make them feel that we are not interested, then they will feel there is no point in talking to you.
1.Give her/him a specific and genuine compliment.
2. When she’s/he's explaining her/his problem to you, listen intently with offering any solutions or advice.
3. Ask about their family
4. Ask how he/she feels
5. Ask about any dreams/ goals they have
1) "Do this and you will be welcome anywhere."
2)"You can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you."
3)"Ask questions to other people, questions that they would enjoy answering."
Reflection: When you acknowledge someone, you recognize their value and importance they will feel important and feel comfortable with you. Starting the day with a "Hello" or “Good Morning”. Smiling at each and every co-workers as you pass by them by on way to the office? Or reaching out to a new acquaintance you see in a crowd. Be friendly so they feel safe and be a new friend.Which is good because then you meet new people that way which then you can figure out if you have such things in common that you didn’t think you did. Its the truth of trying to get others interested in you will take longer than trying to become interested in other people. What i like about this attribute is that in fact it says it all of how life really is which opens up your mind in thinking.

SOCIAL WORK
Job description:
Social workers are employed or contracted by school districts or other educational institutions to help students cope with personal and psychological issues that affect their school performance, behavior and socialization. Through one-on-one, classroom or school-wide sessions, school social workers address issues relevant to the student population they serve, such as school attendance, illegal drug or alcohol dangers, teen pregnancy and adjustment to the social setting of the school. They also might assist teachers and administrators in dealing with behavioral or attitude issues by communicating with students to find the causes of their distress.
Job Duties:
Because they are tasked with helping students function effectively in a school environment, school social workers interact with students to assess the areas in which they might need counseling or assistance. Communicating with parents, teachers and administrators is essential to provide a full view of the issues facing an individual student, group or entire district.
School social workers also maintain case files and reports to track student problems and progress and to recognize patterns in behavior. Once issues or behavior problems have been identified, school social workers assist in remediation by providing counseling, treatment plans or workshops. At the university level, school social workers often have faculty positions and counseling responsibilities.
Education :
A bachelor's degree in social work (BSW) is the most common minimum requirement to qualify for a job as a social worker; however, majors in psychology, sociology, and related fields may qualify for some entry-level jobs, especially in small community agencies (Bureau of Labor Statistics).
Although a bachelor's degree is sufficient for entry into the field, an advanced degree is required for some positions. A master's degree in social work (MSW) is typically required for positions in health and school settings and is required for clinical work, as well (University of Michigan).
Full-time master's programs usually last two years and include a minimum of 900 hours of supervised field instruction. Entry into an MSW program does not always require a bachelor's degree in social work, but relevant courses in psychology, biology, economics, and the social sciences are generally recommended (Bureau of Labor Statistics).
The Group for the Advancement of Doctoral Education lists 74 doctoral programs in social work. These programs include a variety of social-work related courses and also require a minimum of 400 hours of supervised field experience (GADE).
Salary:
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), social workers who assisted children, families and schools averaged $46,060 per year in salary in May 2013 (www.bls.gov). The bureau also notes that most of these professionals earned between $27,420 and $72,350 per year. Those employed in New Jersey, Connecticut and Rhode Island earned the highest among all states, with salaries of $62,380, $61,800 and $60,170, respectively.
Would I want to become SOCIAL WORKER Yes I would.

"The six attitudes Of High Achiever's"
"The six attitudes Of High Achiever's"
High Achievers.....
1.Make no small plans
Reflection: What this means is that do not make small plans therefore do big, huge , jumbo plans. Why you may ask well maybe because small plans do not require much thought and just very little thinking. In other words small plans are lack of effort because not much is done to be involved in it. But if it's huge plan you think about it over and over and make sure every detail in your plan is accurate. As well as appropriate and processed well that you do not fail at it maybe but work your way up towards that big plan. A small plan can be as paying attention in class yes its important but plan out more that you won't let your education be disrupted. That you will follow procedures and do all homework, classwork, come to school, come to tutoring if necessary.
Quote: "Make no little plans; they have no magic to stir men's blood and probably themselves will not be realized."-Daniel Burnham
2. Do What They Fear
Reflection: You have to get out of your comfort zone because if you fear something then that would be one motive or excuses to stop what you want to do. Fear should be a goal for you to overcome and once you overcome your fear then feel that there is many things that you can do.that are you willing to take whatever comes to it like making the people in power be against you by fearing your idea. The quote i have chose means to do one thing that scares you every day, its more of a challenge in your courage. A lot of people would go and try to reach their goal, but along the way someone tells them to give up because they don't have that potential to work in the job or industries. What they have to do is not give up and prove them wrong, and this would make them fear you. This would make them fear you because they saw how much potential you really have and this can scare them.
Quote: "The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown."-H. P. Lovecraft
3. Are willing to prepare
Reflection: We do not like to wait and prepare for something greater, we all ways want our recompense right away instead of waiting for it to get better.
Being prepared for anything is one of the most essential key thing for survival. Its also your responsibility to be prepared for school every single day otherwise you wont be able to graduate. In the world everyone needs to be prepared otherwise we wont get far in life which is very important. Somebody who is never prepared will never strive or make in life between his/ hers career between a person that always strives and is prepared. What the quote means is if you’re wiling to sacrifice for your passion then you should be prepared with the hard working coming with it.
Quote: "Success depends upon previous preparation, and without such preparation there is sure to be failure." -Confucius
4. Are willing to risk failure
Reflection: Willing to risk failure is to risk failure is important because you will not always be perfect. Life will always have it ups and downs and you have to admit to failure when you couldn’t make it right. Failure is in every person there is not a single person that has not tried a something and failed. If they say they have never failed is either because the are lying or they just have not mature enough to accept failure. This is applied everywhere, not only at school or at the work force. An example of this is if a person decides to open a business and fails. It might not be because he was not good enough for his businesses to prosper, or for it to be known, but it could be that he was afraid of letting his little business fail that he did not think about every little detail, and therefore he risked everything. In order to be successful you need to take risk if you don't then you wouldn't know weather you will or not be successful. Just like the second ways says " great achievers do what they fear." If you fear to take risks than take it.
Quote: "The biggest risk is not taking any risk... In a world that changing really quickly, the only strategy that is guaranteed to fail is not taking risks." -Mark Zuckerberg
5. Are Teachable
Reflection: Teachable being that eligible to be taught and get knowledge. Therefore someone that has the time and patience and wanting most of all to be expanded in their knowledge. Like in the picture above the BEST LEADERS are TEACHABLE which in a way is true. You have to be taught first in order to know who you want to be. If the person is not willing to be taught then how are they going to reach true success, everyone comes from being taught no one comes out of the blue knowing everything that’s why there is people to guide you and teach you for then later on you can reach the success you want.
Quote: “What I believe is that all clear-minded people should remain two things throughout their lifetimes: Curious and teachable.” ― Roger Ebert
6. Have Heart
Reflection: Having a heart well obviously everyone has one of-course to live. Nut as in being compassionate, loving others, being kind, honest, trustworthy. Having a heart can mean so many things but to me is being compassionate, whether it be towards a stranger or someone in your family or a friend is practically having emotions. What this can be is lets say you see a homeless man and hes hungry and you have a spare lunch, or something your not going to eat, have a heart and instead of throwing it away give it to them. It could also mean be merciful; show pity, be considerate or be sympathetic.
Quote: “Have a heart that never hardens, and a temper that never tires, and a touch that never hurts.”― Charles Dickens
2. Do What They Fear

9 ways to be happy and make something of your life
Gordon B. Hinckley
Reflection: Be grateful means that you appreciate what someone gives you. Or something that comes at you. It is a way you can say like a blessing that occurs and for eternity of course you going to be grateful for it. Grateful is whether someone give you something or something went your way. For example one way to be grateful is if your parents bought you a new phone, another way to be grateful can me as simple as waking up to a new day and being healthy being able to live one more day of your life is gratitude whether it be in you or a god you believe in. Grateful in other words is thankful or appreciation of kindness.
Quote:"Whatever we are waiting for - peace of mind, contentment, grace, the inner awareness of simple abundance - it will surely come to us, but only when we are ready to receive it with an open and grateful heart."-Sarah Ban Breathnach
Reflection:Being smart is in a way important in life cause you have to either book smart or street smart and if you are not either then you wont get by in life. That's why its important to pay attention in school in what they teach you because then it will impact you in whatever career you choose to go into. Everyone in the world is smart because we all have knowledge. when there is something that you don't know you are still smart its just absence of knowledge. Ignorance does not mean your are not smart, you cant be judged by what you don't know. I will apply this by doing what i have to do and do my corrections and know when i am right or wrong.
Quote:"A man must be big enough to admit his mistakes, smart enough to profit from them, and strong enough to correct them."-John C. Maxwell
3. Be involved in Good Works
Reflection: Be involved in good work is being active in something that benefits your or others for the well being. For example it could be being involved in helping your community to have a garden and promote healthy ways to be. Or being in an organization that helps to provide shelter or food to the homeless. It doesn't matter what your involved in as long as it has a positive outcome. Whether the outcome benefits you or others be active in it and it will benefit you maybe not now but in the future. Also as long as you feel proud of what you are doing that's great because only you know whats great for you.
Quote: "The best preparation for good work tomorrow is to do good work today."-Elbert Hubbard
4. Be clean
Reflection: Be clean can mean so many things from just cleaning up your mess or after yourself. Also to have a clean mind or clear heart as in to not hold grudges and be open minded. Clean can also mean from your body therefore clean from drugs or alcohol. The meaning varies on the definition you give it and the tone or meaning behind how you use the word in context. But to me here this word means to be clean in mind why mind because when you always hold on to negative things in your head you will not be able to concentrate and to have deep thought on positive things that actually matter and benefit you in your life. Whether it be that when you go to a party and see everyone get drunk be clean and don't do the same especially if you are a minor.
Quote: "Be strong in body, clean in mind, lofty in ideals." -James Naismith

Perhaps even worse, it prevents us from trying to improve ourselves. Everybody makes mistakes. Everything we do is a result of what many other people have done to us. It is all because of the people around us that we get shaped and become better persons at some point so that we could achieve our goals.

Being still will give you the focused you need to reflect and clear your mind.. You always try your best to be a humble person and find ways to make others happy. An example of being still is, when your parent gives you something, you should appreciate it and thank him or her. The opposite of being still is if your parents works hard to give you what you want and you don't appreciate it and you wish u had something better. Be humble and appreciate. I will start being still in my everyday life by showing how much i care for everyone in my life. I wont get in fights or do drugs and do any other nonsense. When yo are humble and still you will see there is more to appreciate in life ad you will be thankful for everything you have

9. Be Prayerful
Reflection: This means when someone has belief or faith in a higher power that walks among us in a way. Like a person that's invisible or watching over you like a guardian.
Reflection:
I have went over 9 ways on how to be successful. 9 ways to follow in life and ways that will help me be in the right path. Started off being grateful because I believe that the things we already have are plenty that's why there's no excuse of not being happy, just be grateful that you're living and moving forward. Being smart because nothing comes easy , you gotta be a smart person willing to set goals and getting things done that will help you achieve them. We should not reject what we believe in because of others or because of what we are apart of. We should respect our beliefs and stay committed to them and not turn our back.
