This basically means that one with a smile is one can brighten someone else day. You never know what one goes through and I'm sure you yourself when your feeling depressed wants someone to be there to support them and care for them. So one should show the care back because it really does help when one knows that others are there for them. For example if you see a friend looks down ask them whats wrong to show you care and I'm sure they would appreciate it.
