Is it possible for a society to be fair to everyone? Plan and write an essay in a new post of your portfolio in which you develop your point of view on this issue. Support your position with reasoning and examples taken from your reading, studies, experience, or observations.

It is possible for a society to be fair because everyone can change but depends if they want to change. like i said it's up to people to change because not everyone will accept the fact that society will change.

The day will come off course of people but some people say this"Life isn't fair. We have been taught that since we were born." And this in a way is true because depending how we've been raised will determine our agreements when we are older because that is what we have been taught and how we will teach others.

I think society could be fair because everyone is good at something. People would make it unfair though because they are the reason society is unfair. Everyone has a talent and it would be hard if no one could show off their talents or inspire others. You should be able to express any thing you want to in any way, with no restrictions. Life is not fair today in many aspects but we can still have the pursuit of knowledge, athletics or any thing else we want to. No one should ever be discriminated in this society yet there are so many people that do it even if its because you have no knowledge or aren't good at something as others. People make you less just because you don't have certain qualities that they have.

9 of 10 & S.S.S.

Honesty
9 of 10

Honesty is always the best policy. Employers need to know that they can trust you with everything from company credit cards to trade secrets. How can you work at honesty? You demonstrate integrity every day that you do your own homework and resist the temptation to cheat on exams.

What is honesty?

·       Honesty is telling the truth.
·       Honesty is straightforward conduct.
·       Honesty is being sincere, truthful, trustworthy, honorable, fair, genuine, and loyal with integrity.

You are being honest when you…

·       Do your own homework
·       Tell a friend the truth
·       Explain the real reason you didn’t do your homework
·       Keep your eyes on your own paper
·       Clean up your room after making a promise
·       Give the cashier the extra money she gave you by mistake
·       Write a report in your own words instead of copying
·       Admit you made the mistake
·       Keep a friend’s secret
·       Turn in a wallet full of money that you found

Choose The Right!!!

Student Success Statement

“Honesty is the cornerstone of character. The honest man or women seeks not merely to avoid criminal or illegal acts, but to be scrupulously fair, upright, fearless in both action and expression. Honesty pays dividends both in dollars and in peace of mind.”-B.C. Forbes

Reflection: I think this quote means you hone to be honest to people so that you can have their trust in you and you won’t need to work hard because you have their trust with honesty. Also that when one has honesty that’s all you need for you to be reliable because if you are like this people will admire you because of your action. If you weren’t people wouldn’t want you around because you probably wouldn’t be loyal.

Year End Reflection

A. What i accomplished this year is a passing grade at least for this class and also new friends.

B. I am proud of passing my algebra class with a good passing grade.

C. Well I discovered that i have a new interest in helping others and wanting my education for a better future.

D. A problem that i had was trying to pass all my classes but most of them i am passing them with a good grade but there's just one class i have to do the credits for.

E. Well a lesson to me I guess was putting all my effort into education because this well help me all along my life to be someone better. Because everyone is the future of America it's just that some make it and others fall. But i want to make it because I want to be something in life. Where i will be proud of myself for all i have done.

8 OF 10 & S.S.S.

Time Management
8 of 10
Master the moments and you may be a real pro when it comes to juggling the many demands on your time—classes, homework and activities—with some family help. College gives you an even bigger chance to sharpen your time management skills by doing it all on your own. And that’s a good thing since most jobs require multitasking. You might need to take care of current clients while attracting new ones, respond to e-mails while working on a major presentation, or order tomorrow’s produce while planning next week’s menu.

Someone said, “Wherever you are, be there.” Focus on the present moment and give it all your attention. Don’t let your mind drift and wander here and there when you need to be thinking and concentrating on the moment at hand. You can’t go back and recapture this moment, so make the most of it while it NOW. Master the present and you will master the future. Work smart by mastering the present moment.
Choose the Right!!!

Student Success Statement

“Stop worrying about whether you’re going to win or lose and focus your full attention on what’s happening right this moment.”-Phil Jackson

Reflection: This to me means that for one to stop worrying about the future and focus on today because what you do today will affect your future. Whether it be bad or good but you decide how today will be for tomorrow. For example if I have a test tomorrow and I’m frightened about my results if I stop doing this I will have time to study, and study to get enough information on what the test will be. And depending on how good I study will determine my scores.
