To understand questions better; rewrite them in your own words. Be careful not to change the meaning.

Organize your thoughts before you write.

Take time to organize your responses to short-answer and essay questions. You’ll reduce the time you need to revise.

Write neatly.

Be sure you don’t lose points on answers the teachers can’t read.

Use all the time you’re given.

If you finish early, don’t leave. Use the extra time to proofread and review your answers.

Reflection: This means basically when you put all your effort, mind, and belief into something you will get it. For example: let’s say in a competition and I lose by 1 point. It doesn't actually mean that I lost and I’m not good at it, just that I know I put all my effort into it that even though I lost in reality I won because I was very close to get there I just needed a little more persistent.

During the test  

Read the directions.

It’s important that you follow the instructions exactly. For example, some questions may have more than one correct answer.

Answer easy questions first.

Doing this can jog your memory about useful facts. You may also come across information that can help you with other questions.

Answer every question.

Unless there is a penalty for wrong answers, try to answer every question; you begin but don’t complete correctly.

Ask questions.

If a question isn't clear, talk to your teacher. If that’s not possible, explain your answer in the margin.

Reflection: This to me means that by one having a good attitude, appearance, feeling, etc. That will help on what they are doing to be better than before. Because to try to make something perfect one has to make sure you are feeling this way and everything you will do; has to benefit you.

Essential Test-Taking Advice

Try out these strategies while you’re still in high school, and by the time you get to college, you’ll be a test-taking expert.

Before the test

Eat well.

Studies show that you need good nutrition to concentrate and perform your best.

Bring the right supplies.

Bring your pencils, erasers, pens, rulers, compasses, calculators or whatever else you need on the test day.

Review the whole test before you start.

So how many sections and what types of questions are on the test. Determine how much time to allow for completing each section.

Reflection: well as you can see its simple just do the right. Anyone can choose the right it’s just up to those that want to take another path that probably doesn't look so bright. One really has to think about this because the right will take you very far, very far where everything will be excellent. But there are others that go for the wrong and end up trapped in a dark whole where they can’t escape because everything they have done.

• ·    Read the website’s home page and the about us page. Look for a mission statement to learn more about the site, its purpose and the organization sponsoring it.
• ·       If there is an author listed, look for a biography that discusses the author’s education, profession and the other relevant background. If there is no bio on the site, search for one elsewhere on the web.
• ·       Check the date. Facts can change over time, so see if the site shows when it was last updated.
• ·       Presentation counts; look at everything from design to spelling. A clean, well-organized site shows a certain degree of professionalism.
• ·         Avoid site that are pornographic, vulgar, inappropriate, below par, suggestive, and falsifying.
